Stitchery-Do-Dodd

Embroidery on paper or cards is relaxing and produces a beautiful product. When I can't find a free pattern for a design or theme I have in mind, I make on up myself. I use CorelDraw for this.

The items below which include instructions are of my own design and are free for you to use. You may make copies to share as long as you identify the source. The patterns cannot be sold. You MAY sell the cards you make from these patterns.

Here are a few cards I made from other people's patterns:

Bird of Paradise
Stitched in bold colors on a plain background for contrast. This design would make a suitable card for any occasion. It is pricked at the ends of each colored line and stitched by the color coding

Double Cross

Pansies
Very complicated! Once you prick the holes at the ends of every colored line you have just begun. I find it best to refer to the pattern when stitching and do all the purple first, the green next and finish with the yellow.
